Derby Gal Magazine was launched in January 2007.  For skaters by skaters, Derby Gal is dedicated
to bringing roller derby to the forefront of women's sports.

Derby Gal is published by Cowgirlie Publishing, an independent publishing house based in
Austin, Texas.  Founded by author, Michele Hale, Cowgirlie is dedicated to amplifying the voices
of independent writers.

We have an open submissions policy.  Bringing the best in derby to our readers is first and

Fallen Skaters Fund:
Derby Gal is pledging 15% of all sales to starting the Fallen Skaters Fund.  Additionally, our
editor and publisher, Michele Hale, is pledging 20% of her own book sales to the Fund.  There
will be more details on this in the future...so, STAY TUNED!
